Kelly McLendon is the co-founder of CompliancePro Solutions and SVP for Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Genzeon. He is an accomplished author, thought leader, and industry expert in HIPAA privacy and security, Meaningful Use, legal health records, HIM operations, electronic document management and EHRs.
Kelly has been actively involved with AHIMA and its local affiliates, garnering multiple awards: the AHIMA Triumph Award in Innovation in 2015, the FHIMA Distinguished Member Award in 2008, and the AHIMA Visionary Award in 2003. He recently actively participated on the EHI Task Force, culminating in the report, “Defining EHI and the Designated Record Set in an Electronic World.”
